Freestyle: Steele Hill goes H2H against Justin Bieber

Hill V. Bieber:
Battle of the the intellects
MY anthology Naughty Nineties (buy it here) was travelling nicely on page 4 of Amazon’s category, popular music books.
Sure  five Justin Bieber books were ahead of it but the Steele Hill collection was beating the Justin Bieber quote book.
In the twinkling of an eye  – I swear it was less than three minutes – Naughty Nineties had slipped to page 7. The Leave it to Bieber quotes remained on page 4.
Now I know how John Lennon felt when he returned his MBE gong in protest against the war in Biafra and Cold Turkey slipping down the charts.
How had Bieber bested Steele Hill in that            instant-karmic skirmish of the war of pop words?                        Buy Naughty Nineties here
To set the record straight, Steele Hill goes H2H, quoting  against Justin Bieber.

How readers can bookmark Australia Day

12 Apostles, Victoria, Australia

WELL, it’s Australia Day and many cities and towns around the country will have citizenship ceremonies to welcome people from all over the world. You are true-blue Aussies now.

Youthful Dystopia

A.G. Chambers is a young author resident in New Zealand and her first novel Jaded Rein is a cross-genre piece which for convenience I have labelled dystopian fantasy. You have come this far you might as well read my review.

Loss of dialogue and innocence

Book Review

I HAVE read three or four Patterson novels, all hand-me downs rather than bought. The latest is Loss of Innocence, a cliched title but we will let that pass.

Comedy murder of an insurgent

Dilbert with guns

Party Boys: North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un  is the third in a line of hedonists to control the nation. Pictured are his Dad, Kim Jong Il and Poppy, Kim Il-sung (left)
North Korea reminds me of the Dilbert corporation with guns. Surely Scott Adams created these characters and plot-lines. Even the journalist Jay Holmes sounds wacky.

Mail Chimp makes a monkey of me

Monkey Trial

AM I the only having trouble with the email newsletter service Mail Chimp or is it Maul Chump?
There are probably trained monkeys out there tight now using Mail Chimp to send news to their simian network. To them I apologise.

What's hot and cool and read all over?

Here In Queensland  Australia, we have a heatwave while in New York and New Jersey you let it snow, let it snow – because you cannot do much about it.
